As your personal lender for life it is my job to not only understand your needs but also respond to them promptly, professionally and with integrity. It is my pledge to provide you with sound mortgage advice, helping you to understand the strategies of decision making and the future implications of the decisions you make.
As a personal lender for life I feel it necessary to provide all of my clients with a relationship they have grown to trust. To provide value and service after the transactions so that the changing needs of each of my clients are addressed on a continuous basis.
What I Do
Most Mortgage Loan Officers do business as if they will never see or hear from those clients again! Because they have that mindset, oftentimes customer service slips or discrepancies appear... they just want to get that deal done and move on to the next one. They never build trust with that client and they are typically afraid of "losing them" to another Mortgage Loan Officer so they "have to get the deal done fast, regardless of the consequences". You feel the pressure.
My way of doing business is to think of our relationship with a client as a long-term association... not for just one transaction. I work hard to prove myself to my clientele... that I have their best interests in mind... and they in turn give me their loyalty. Because of this different mindset on both sides, the pressure is off! I am willing to work with my alliance partners and purchasers for as long as they need to in order to make them feel comfortable with the home buying, selling and mortgage process.
I tell the truth and live with the consequences. Again and again I have found that people prefer to work this way. My concern is about our clients' well being, their goals and what is best for them always! I never pressure someone to sell now, buy now, refinance now or to do anything that is NOT according to their schedule... it MUST be what's best for my client! And if you think about it, that's why I get so much referral business... it comes full circle!
My Business Philosophy
Over 95% of my business comes to me by way of referral... friends, past clients, friends of past clients and even other Mortgage Consultants from across the country. Because these people have dealt with me in the past, and have seen first-hand the high level of service and commitment I provide to my clients, there is a very high level of trust. That means: trust in my integrity, in my level of skill and mortgage knowledge to do the best job possible and in my commitment to put the needs and requirements of my clients first!
I have over 25 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Consultant and have helped over 2000 families with their mortgage needs.
I base my business on a referral basis. This means that I provide my clients with the high level of service that they deserve and require. In return I expect that my clients will refer their family, friends and co-workers to me. After all, if it's in the best interest of those new buyers, sellers or clients refinancing their homes to have me as their mortgage consultant and advisor for life, why wouldn't they refer me?
How I’m Different
The question always is... how can I show people that I am not like the rest of the pack? That my skills, knowledge, counseling ability and commitment put me at the top of my profession.
1. One of the best ways to have potential new clients learn more about me is by reading about or talking to other people who have enjoyed my services. I have received comments from past clients who I have helped to either buy or refinance their home, which I will make available to you. I recognize that people feel better when they learn that other people have had good experiences with me.
2. A second way I differentiate myself is by offering guarantees of service with a consequence to me if I don't perform for you as promised. I have several distinct guarantees for purchasers and refinance clients that raise the "bar" of quality to which everyone who is in a service business should aspire:
- I will keep you informed about what is going on with your loan.
- You will receive an accurate Good Faith Estimate detailing the costs involved with your loan.
- You will be kept informed of what is happening with mortgage interest rates. The Daily Market Report on my website provides you with a Mortgage Trend Index that reflects the changes in the mortgage market every day. This index tracks the movement in interest rates like the Dow Jones Industrial Average tracks the movements in stocks. - I will work with you to determine when to Lock-In your interest rate. A lock-in is a lenders promise to hold a certain interest rate and a certain number of points for you usually for a specified period of time. The MyRateAlert site is one of the tools used to assist you in the decision of when to lock-in your loan. The decision to lock-in the loan will be determined by what is happening in the financial markets and your personal feelings about the risks involved. The final decision of when to lock your loan is made by you.
- I will provide you with a copy of your appraisal.
- I will provide you with a copy of your credit report.
- I'll allow you to cancel your loan application at any time if you aren't satisfied with our level of service to you. Some top mortgage consultants have told me that if they allowed their clients to do this, they would lose half of their loans.
